Why do you charge for shipping? Amazon doesn’t.

There are far better writers out there who can better explain Amazon’s detrimental effect on a variety of issues, and the expectation of “free 2-day shipping” is certainly a part of the conversation.

Shipping 1 copy of Social Alchemix via USPS costs our company between $5.10 and $10.25 depending where in the US it will be delivered. We absorb some of that cost and charge a flat $3.99 all across the country. However, if you buy more than 1 game, we absorb the total cost of shipping and it is free for you!

We understand that Amazon has created an expectation of “free” shipping, and while nothing is free, we can acknowledge that the world is changing. If you buy 2 copies of Social Alchemix, you have one for yourself and one to give a person with whom you play the game and loves it. Then they can gather their own crew, and spread the magical alchemy of a Social Alchemix game night.

Can I use these cards by myself or do I need a group of people to play with?
